Flower Island in ancient times
Flower Island is called ape kingdom because there are hundreds and even thousands of monkeys here, and supposedly according to the myth of locals there is a very large ape that is called the king of the apes. But not only apes, if we are lucky we can bertmu with Bekantan, the type of long-tailed monkeys that have a nose with a sharp yellowish color that is a typical animal island of Borneo.


Perhaps some people wonder, how can these so many monkeys live on an island made by nature that is not connected by this land?
Historically it is said that one of the kings' descendants in Kuin was not in the gifts of the descendants. According to the fortune-teller prediction at that time if you want to have children then have to visit the island of Flower by holding ceremony badudus (bath-mandi).
