The Seller and buyers in this market use The Jukung (boat in Banjar language) as transportation media. The jukung which is full of merchandises such as vegetables, fruit, fish and various household needs are available in floating market. The market opens after Subuh prayer to 07.00 am.

       The atmosphere of unique and typical floating market is mill-around of big and small boats, buyer and seller milling about and shaky played by wave of Barito River. Floating market does not have any organization like those on land, so it is not recorded how many traders and visitors or division of trader based on merchandise.

         Enjoying the atmosphere of the floating market is a special experience for tourists who come to Banjarmasin, here you can find activities of buying and selling of goods carried on the river by means of boat transportation. Not only that along the river to this place you can also see the views of the houses - the houses of the Barito river people who are all made of wood.
